I founded Total Integrity Insurance to help people regain control of their insurance options and decisions. I choose the independent route even though it is more challenging for me, I know that I can offer my client more choices and assist them without biases or high-pressure tactics

Independent: What's the big deal?
You might be wondering why I emphasize the independent aspect so much. The broker/agent is the facilitator between the insurance carrier and the client. Most of the industry is comprised of agents who are captive or emplyed by the insurance companies.

It is my goal to provide you with world class services and to ensure that you have the best insurance purchasing and policy ownership​ experience in your life.
When you are in a exclusive contractual relationship with the carrier, it is difficult or impossible to remain customer oriented. Agents/ employees are required to sell only their company's policies, hit certain quotas, push certain products, or cease communication once there is a claim. None of these actitivies help the agent/ employee focus on the needs of the customer.
Which carriers does this? About 80-90% of the market. State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, Geico , and AAA just to name a few.
For us, we chose to only work with carriers that allows us to remain independent so we can serve our clients with the way we would like: customer-focused.
